BACKGROUND

Many lives have been lost and injuries incurred using the current process of manually de-dagging concrete agitators, which involves having a worker enter the agitator bowl using a jackhammer to remove hardened concrete - a noisy, dusty, dangerous and time consuming process - amongst the worst jobs in the world!

AGI-Kleen® Pty Limited was established in 2008 as a response for a demand in the concreting industry for a safer, faster and cost effective method of cleaning and maintaining concrete agitator bowls.

Securing the exclusive rights for Australia to the globally patented technology from Blasters Ready Jet® - AGI-Kleen set about marketing their Robotic Concrete Removal System to the industry.

Initially commencing services in Western Australia with one unit, acceptance of the process and demand for the service has since forced us into securing two more units for use in the eastern states, with strong expectations of continued growth as potential customer awareness of the benefits of this time saving system increases. Over 90% of AGI-Kleen’s revenue is derived from the 3 Major Australian concrete suppliers Holcim, Boral and Hanson.

This international award winning agitator cleaning and maintenance system is now successfully cleaning thousands of agitator bowls in the US; Canada; Europe; South America; Hong Kong and the Middle East. In Australia we have cleaned over 2,000 agitator trucks taking out over 1,500 tons of concrete.
